What separates me from God?

[Jesus, the bridge between God and man] The beginning: God and man together
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Gen 1:27)

Sin enters the world
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way. (Is 53:6)

Sin separates God and man
And Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD GOD amongst the trees of the garden. (Gen 3:8)

Jesus comes
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18)

Jesus bridges the gap
When we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son. (Rom 5:10)

He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Is 53:5)

God and man together
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. (Rev 21:3)
